The Challenge:
Magnum Power Wash was a small power washing service searching
for a professional identity when they found Deweese Design.
The owner wanted to emphasize his personal business philosophy
of efficiency and dependability versus competitors he described
as unreliable and sloppy. In addition, he wanted the logo
to imply something about the literal action of power washing.
The
Solution: Our final Magnum Power Spray logo
is solid and powerful, utilizing a bold serif typeface and
a rugged two-color design. It suggests the capable power consumers
of the service expect, while remaining sophisticated. The
undulating reflux blue implies the actual water spray used
in power washing, and the slight italic angle of the primary
text coupled with the subtle background arc suggest energy
and motion, adding to the logo's appeal.
